This prestigious, rapidly growing international charity are currently seeking a Head of Programme Finance to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis. This role is an absolutely critical position within the charity, as it holds ultimate responsibilityfor all things programme finance, whilst managing a small team and undertaking several exciting projects to ensure the function are providing the highest-quality and fit-for-purpose service for all their partners based across the globe.

**The key duties of this Head of Programme Finance role are as follows**:

- Take the lead in the financial management of the charity’s international grants portfolio, ensuring all donor reports are submitted in a timely fashion and that compliance is being adhered to.
- Produce monthly progress reports for review by the Finance Committee.
- Critically review budget proposals for upcoming projects, challenging assumptions as appropriate.
- Manage a team of four direct reports, providing leadership and guidance to enhance performance and provide direction.
- Hold full oversight of the budgeting and forecasting processes for the international directorate.
- Play a leading role in the Audit process for the department, working in close partnering with the Financial Controller to ensure all queries are answered in a timely fashion.
- Be at the forefront of new working efficiency improvement, making suggestions and upgrading processes to enhance departmental performance in line with the strategic plan.
- Demonstrable experience in the financial managements of large grants.
- Experience working in either the UK or International Charity sector.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- A brilliant track record of delivering process improvement initiatives.
