**The Role
They are currently recruiting for an Insight Manager. In this role you'll lead, manage, and develop a small team of investment specialists in the Funds & DFM team, in addition to actively participating in the day-to-day specialist activities of the team.You will be responsible for ensuring all ratings, reviews, and consultancy outputs are delivered on time and to the required quality standard, addressing any issues that may arise.

You will keep up to date with developments within UK Financial Services (and more widely where relevant), in terms of investment solutions, products, the market and the industry

In this role, you will facilitate revenue generation through the delivery of high-quality Insight-based products and services, representing our client in the marketplace as a thought-leader within the UK Financial Services industry.

This role will also require you to contribute and implement ideas to improve processes and increase efficiency and productivity, as well being involved in developing and promoting new propositions in key markets, working alongside the Head of Insight andCommercial team.

**What you need to succeed
**Qualifications & Training**

Graduate in a mathematical / scientific / engineering discipline, or equivalent intellectual ability demonstrated through experience

CFA or equivalent and demonstrated technical ability

**Knowledge**

Excellent working knowledge of UK Financial Services

Understanding of modern investment portfolio theory

Understanding of the various UK investment product structures

Understanding of the various UK retail platform and product structures

Knowledge of the relevant distribution channels

**Experience**

Managing people within a team environment

Significant experience of working within the UK asset management and/or wealth management industry

Collating, analysing and reporting on large volumes of data

Designing and writing reports

Designing, writing and delivering presentations to large groups of people (both internal and external)

**Skills**

Strong people management skills

Highly numerate, with excellent data analysis, manipulation and interpretation skills

Good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex concepts in an easy to understand manner

Strong creative thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
