Financial Controller/business Partner

RG Consultancy are working with a manufacturing/logistics company based in Ashton-under-Lyne who are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join them on a full time, permanent basis. Due to the nature of the business the role is office basedbut have some flexibility with start and finish times (can do 8-4 or 9-5).
Benefits: 25 days plus bank holidays, life assurance, private medical, private pension (8% employer), free parking and a competitive salary depending on experience.
Duties include:
- Preparation and submission of the monthly management accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Budgets and forecasting
- Accruals and prepayments
- Fixed asset register
- Analysis reporting to HOF
- Profit and Loss analysis
- Costing and material reporting
- Finance analysis
- VAT returns
- Other ad-hocduites including management meetings, setting KPIs and support with new starters/apprenticeships
You will manage a team of 3 within the finance department and will report to the company’s head of finance (HOF).
- Must be CIMA/ACCA or ACA qualified for this role
- Strong MS Excel skills and use of SAP would be an advantage
