RSR Police is a market leading recruitment business dedicated to supporting Blue Light sector organisations with their recruitment services. We are looking for a OIC Force Operational Lead. The role is based in Kidlington and the rate of pay £17.81 per hour. Working with Thames Valley Police in a Hybrid working capacity.

**OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**:

- The overall purpose of the role is to: To act as a tactical advisor for TVP linking into the National Modern Slavery and Organised Immigration Crime programme (MSOICP) and other agencies to co-ordinate and improve the law enforcement response to organised immigration crime.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITY AREAS**:

- The key result areas in the role are as follows:

- Link in to the National MSOIC programme and other agencies (i.e. Immigration & NCA) including attending national meetings, conferences and training.
- Plan, advise and partake in operations to tackle Organised Immigration Crime and disrupt serious organised crime.
- Improve the initial response, Intelligence, investigations and prosecutions within the TVP area by understanding necessary legislation and enforcement powers held by other relevant agencies.
- Deliver on national requirements fed from the MSOICP, NCA and Immigration Enforcement (to be decided by national group).
- With Modern Slavery Tactical Advisor and Intelligence Development Officer to identify potential victims and reduce vulnerability of persons within the Thames Valley Region.
- and maintain a force wide action plan that co-ordinates the local and national objectives to improve TVP response to OIC.
- Produce briefing documents based on Local and National objectives to inform local resources to improve TVP response to OIC incidents.

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE ROLE:

- Knowledge of systems including NICHE, CMP and Word
- The knowledge or skills required in the role are as follows (essential or desirable):

- Demonstrable knowledge and experience of working effectively with a range of partners and other agencies to deliver preventative and problem-solving activity.
- Awareness of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, Organised Immigration Crime and Immigration policy, or experience of working within a serious and organised crime area
- Proven ability to plan and manage operational activity
- Ability to chair meetings, manage and participate in meetings and Task & Finish groups.
- Experience in identifying, developing, and promoting good practice.
- Excellent communication skills including proven ability to produce clear and concise reports and briefings.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the national intelligence model

Although the role is principally 0800 — 1600 hours it requires flexibility with working hours. Some weekend working may be required in response to intelligence on clandestine activity. This is a force based post supporting a national team and it will require flexibility as well as frequent travel nationally.
