If you enjoy working with people, have confidence in leading an interaction and have the ability to learn independently and are passionate and enthusiastic about hair you maybe be interested in the Melanie Giles training program. We have our training school in Frome Somerset that offers an independent learning experience over 2 years which teaches both cutting and colouring independent of any UK apprenticeships or current training qualifications.

You will learn todays techniques in colouring including Balayage and Foiliage. We will introduce you to blade work alongside cutting with scissors. Our training also includes barbering.

Alongside learning the trade a minimum of 3 days per week will be required to work in one of our beautiful salons. You will be supported in your learning and will be mentored in the day to day running of a hair salon. Key skill requirements are self awareness, team participation and the ability to positively interact with others.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 27 per week

**Salary**: £10.42-£11.00 per hour
