**Head of Operations & Finance Director**

If you are, then we might have the ideal role for you at our clients Stevenage office as the Head of Operations incorporating the role of Finance Director. You can lead a talented group of individuals as you take charge of the operational and financial elementsof the business, be part of the Change Management Team and report directly to the Managing Director.

As Head of Operations, you will have seven department heads reporting directly to you who you will lead and support to deliver on the firm’s business plan and objectives. You will also support and take responsibility for the finance department and buildan effective and efficient team which supports the entire business.

**Your Role**

- You will be leading the operational team, working with the seven department heads, and the wider team to deliver a high-quality service to our clients and meet operational targets and KPIs.
- You will be responsible for developing the team, with a focus on department heads, and be a role model, supporting, coaching, and guiding them.
- You will be responsible for the implementation of modern and automated systems and processes so that the operational team and the finance function work efficiently and effectively.
- You will carry out appraisals and coaching or mentor Heads of Departments and relevant team members as appropriate.
- You will have overall responsibility for financial reporting of group companies, and internal management reporting to your fellow directors and the shareholder group.
- You will hold your team to account, and work with them to deliver our ambitious targets.

**Your Skills**
- You are ACA or ACCA qualified
- You have significant managerial experience, at a senior level
- You have a 'can do’ attitude, are focussed on the future, and want to develop the business advisory offering
- You can think commercially, identify opportunities, and embrace change
- You have experience in running finance teams and getting the best out of them
- You enjoy managing people
- You have patience and a collaborative approach to leadership
- You are a good communicator and able to hold people to account
- You enjoy operations and are systems and process orientated
- You are excited to immerse yourself in the firm’s culture and business
