Part-time Housekeeper

We are recruiting a Part-time Housekeeper to provide cover at our beautiful Landmark Trust property, Wortham Manor, Lifton, Devon.

This is to provide cover, for up to two changeovers a week typically on a Monday and Friday for approximately 4 - 6 hours a day.

This is not a live-in position, and due to the location of our properties a car is essential.

We take on historic buildings in danger and carefully and sensitively restore them. By making them available for holidays they can be enjoyed by all both today and for future generations.

**About the Job**

Housekeepers report to the Regional Manager (RM) and also work closely with the Regional Assistant.

You will ensure the building is thoroughly cleaned and prepared for your guests' arrival. Paying attention to detail, you will check the building has the correct inventory and report any maintenance issues to the PM. You will manage the supply and quality of linen and be responsible for ensuring that fire and safety checks are carried out. You will be required to ensure a welcome tray including fresh milk is prepared as well as keeping cleaning supplies stocked. You may be asked to check and refresh the building when there are no consecutive bookings. You may also be asked to be the first point of contact for our guests.

**Skills**

Self-motivated with an enthusiastic attitude and willingness to work in an historic building. General cleaning and experience in physical, practical tasks. Attention to detail and commitment to customer care are essential.
