Trainee Client Advisor

**Trainee Client Advisor - Marsh Commercial - Witham**

Marsh Commercial are seeking an enthusiastic and customer focussed individual to join us as an Trainee Client Advisor in our Witham office.

With a supportive and experienced team in place, this is a great platform for someone to kick start their Insurance Broking career, OR for someone looking to transfer their insurance skills into an Account Handling/ Client Advisor role.

Please note that this is a full time role and is being offered on a hybrid basis (with car parking available a short walk from the office).

**We will rely on you to**:

- Work on all aspects of account management and service delivery to clients, ensuring client needs are identified and met in line with agreed service standards
- Manage all day-to-day queries, renewals, amendments and mid-term adjustments
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, prospects, client teams and producers to provide best in class service and drive growth
- Serve as a client contact for day-to-day needs and answer standard or more difficult client questions to improve the client experience
- Identify and document successful account retention and defence strategies to ensure business is retained
- Where appropriate provide support to the client &/or claims teams in dealing with client claims
- Develop meaningful working relationships with insurers through regular contact and liaison to better serve clients
- Possesses a thorough understanding of all major classes of insurance which the Company offers to its clients and keep abreast of all new technical and product developments to better advise professional colleagues and clients

**What you need to have**:

- A desire to start a rewarding insurance broking career (or to move into Account Management/Handling/Client Advisory)
- A strong customer-focus
- Ambitious nature and a keen contributor within a team environment
- Articulate with strong communication and time management abilities
- Ability to manage own workload and work in a fast-paced environment
- A desire to aid your development by completing industry relevant CII Qualifications (company funded)
