Regional Automotive Auditor

**Job Purpose**

To provide an efficient day to day inspection and auditing service within a designated regional area, providing a quality service to RMISC customers

**The Person**

An experienced automotive technician with the knowledge of processes in the Bodyshop and mechanical automotive sectors. You will be expected to carry out health and safety audits to assess compliance to legal requirements as well as certification audits to the vehicle repair BS 10125 Standard.

**Accountabilities and Main Responsibilities**
- Carry out standards audits on motor vehicle businesses.
- Provide and compile accurate documentation following site visits.
- Undertake quality checks and provide feedback where required.
- Be proactive in your own work management.
- Plan, organize and be responsible for all aspects of programme activity within the designated regional area.
- Support the Operations team with other field-based tasks.
- Compliance with all relevant quality systems procedures

**Job-related experience, qualifications and skills**
- Possession of or willing to work towards a health and safety and standards auditing qualification.
- Experience of quality system auditing/implementation
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation and the BS 10125 Standard
- Awareness of Bodyshop and mechanical repair processes
- Field territory management experience and a track record of delivery and success in a field-based role
- Proven customer service skills
- Ability to manage your own workload and work with minimum supervision.
- Basic IT skills (i.e., Keyboard, word, excel)
- Excellent team player
- Excellent communication skills
