Exciting Opportunity for an experienced Trainer and Facilitator in Housing to deliver the CIH Level 5 Diploma in Housing.

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation dedicated to providing high-quality education and training to aspiring Housing professionals. As a Trainer and Facilitator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the housing workforce by delivering outstanding training and support to our apprentices.
As a Level 5 Trainer and Facilitator in Housing, you can expect:
- A salary between £40000-£60000 DOE
- Based in Liverpool with Hybrid Working
- 24 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
- Christmas Shutdown, 2 x Volunteer Holidays
Responsibilities of the Trainer and Facilitator
- CIH Level 5 Diploma in Housing
- Deliver high-quality training and support to apprentices and commercial learners enrolled in our Housing training program, including conducting classroom-based training, on-the-job assessments, and mentoring
- Create and deliver engaging and interactive training sessions up to level 5 that align with the CIH Diploma in Housing and regulatory requirements
- Provide regular feedback and support to learners, identifying their strengths and areas for improvement and providing guidance to help them achieve their learning goals
- Support learners in developing their practical skills in early years settings, observing and assessing their competence and providing constructive feedback
- Observe, mark and review work produced by learners to ensure it is of the appropriate standard to reflect the learner’s qualification.
- Monitor learners progress and maintain accurate records of their learning journey, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Plan and design specific industry-standard learning programmes in competencies, behaviours, and relationships.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in Housing education and training, attend relevant professional development opportunities, and maintain your own professional development portfolio
Skills and Experience Required for a Level 5 Trainer in Housing
- Ideally hold a recognised Teaching Qualification (PTLLS, Award in Education and Training) or be prepared to work towards the qualification
- Ideally hold a recognised Assessors Award such as CAVA, TAQA or be prepared to work towards the qualification
- Hold a level 5 Diploma Housing Qualification
- CIH
- Vocational sector experience ideally at management level within the Housing sector.
- Experience teaching, coaching and delivering to a wide range of learners including apprenticeships.
- Experience in online delivery across platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Virtual Learning platforms.
- Full UK Driving License and access to own vehicle
