**The role**:
To achieve the most efficient and effective way of cutting and preparing cores to specification based on the extrusion planning board ready for jobs scheduled to run.

**Your duties will include**:

- To cut cores in time for scheduled jobs
- To cut the most effective way reducing waste
- To ensure that specifications and quality standards are followed
- Documenting when cores are ready and location on planning board
- To safely stack / store all cut cores and master cores when delivered
- Ensure that Health & Safety regulations are met
- To report any problems to the shift Supervisor immediately as and when they occur
- To take part in training as required by the Company
- To respect and care for Company property
- To carry out any other duties as reasonably directed by the shift Supervisor (e.g. silo filling etc.)
- To keep working and service areas (canteen toilets etc.) clean and tidy in accordance with Company policy
- Reliable & punctual
- Own transport is essential due to rural location.
- A level of fitness for manual work and 12 hour shifts.
- Previous experience within a factory environment desirable.
- Flexible to cover additional overtime shifts.
- Long term role.

**Shift rotation**:

- 12 hour shifts
- Working Hours 7-7
- 4 days
- 4 days off.

**Weekly pay**:
**£10.00 ph (Average 42hours per week)**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
