Packing Centre Operative

We are looking for enthusiastic, hardworking individuals to join the team at our Packing Centre based just outside of Thirsk, North Yorkshire.

As a production operative you will work in a busy and fast-paced production environment grading, boxing and packing the eggs. The job does require some lifting and carrying.

Your main tasks will include:

- Packing egg cartons into Shelf Ready Packs or Shippers.
- Washing pallets and trays
- Moving and lifting boxes of eggs and stacking onto pallets
- Working in a variety of different temperature-controlled environments
- To assist in the completion of all orders set out on the plan as requested by the Manager / Supervisor
- To ensure that food materials handled by you are safe, legal and of the quality expected by the business and customer.
- To promote a culture of dignity and respect amongst staff
- To develop a working environment that is free from intimidation, harassment and bullying

Work as part of a team and carry out tasks according to instructions.

Full training will be given

Would be beneficial to have own transport due to our location

£11.50 per hour
