Behaviour Support Assistant

A specialist SEND provision in Sunderland are looking to appoint a Behaviour Support Assistant to work with young people who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH).
**About the role**:
As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to guide students in managing their emotions and working towards their targets. This is a full time Behaviour Support Assistant role.
**About the school**:
You will be working in a designated provision that supports young people who have SEMH and barriers to education.
**Requirements**:
To be considered for the role of Behaviour Support Assistant you will:
- Experience of working with secondary school aged children
- Experience of working with pupils with SEMH
- A nurturing and engaging personality
- A passion for education and helping people
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
