Airplay is a national youth work programme delivered on behalf of the RAF Benevolent Fund (RAFBF). Airplay Clubs are for children aged eight to eighteen which includes our digital Airplay Connect service and Ben Clubs which provide fun activities for children aged five to seven.
Reporting to the Lead Youth and Airplay Worker, you will be responsible for delivery and coordination of a range of outreach and centre based youth work with young people aged 5-18 years and in line with the YMCA Youth Work Strategy and Principles.
The activities will include daytimes, evening sessions and the occasional weekend.

**Salary, hours and location**: You'll work 18 hours per week. The hourly rate is £11.79 and this is paid on a monthly, salaried basis. This amounts to £11,035.68 per annum for 18 hours per week (based on a full-time salary of £22,991). The role is based in RAF Benson, Wallingford.
Tuesday - RAF Benson - 3pm - 8pm
Wednesday - RAF Benson - 3pm-8pm
The remaining eight hours will include admin time and other youth sessions. The admin can be carried out at any time across the week (Monday - Friday), depending on what works for you.
The key elements of the post are to:
a) Support the Lead Youth and Airplay Worker in developing activities for young people aged 5-18 year within own area and in line with Strategy and Principles.
b) Deliver and sustain a range outreach and centre based activities, working across YMCA sites and other community venues.
c) Work collaboratively with YMCA colleagues, RAF Personnel and external agencies to ensure alignment and integration of work to support young people on
their journey.
d) Maintain records to support the monitoring, assessment and evaluation of the service, including outcomes for young people.
e) Work towards and achieve the agreed Key Performance Indicators and performance indicators
