CONSULTANT IN PSYCHIATRY - INTENSIVE CASE MANAGEMENT FOR PSYCHOSIS COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH TEAM

£84,559 - £114,003 + £2,162 LW PER ANNUM + 1% ON CALLS
Permanent - Full Time, 40 hours/ 10 PAs per week
The ICMP Team provides a flexible service to all adults within the psychosis clusters who currently require secondary community mental health care in the locality. The post holder will be responsible for service users who fulfil the agreed inclusion criteria who live in the London Borough of Greenwich. The post holder will be Consultant within the above service working alongside one other consultant (0.7 WTE).

Oxleas offers a wide range of NHS healthcare services to people living in South East London and Kent and to people in prison. Our services include community health care such as district nursing and speech and language therapy, care for people with learning disabilities and mental health care such as psychiatry, nursing and therapies. Our 4,000 members of staff work in many different settings including hospitals, clinics, prisons, children’s centres, schools and people’s homes. We have over 125 sites in a variety of locations across the London Boroughs of Bexley, Bromley Greenwich and into Kent and manage hospital sites including Queen Mary’s Hospital, Sidcup and Memorial Hospital in Woolwich as well as the Bracton Centre, our medium secure unit for people with mental health needs. The post holder will be Consultant Psychiatrist to the Greenwich East Intensive Case Management for Psychosis Team (ICMP) with Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust.
The Greenwich ICMP Team was formed as part of the reconfiguration of Community Mental Health Services that occurred in September 2015. The reconfiguration of Community Services was part of the directorate’s plan to
ensure efficient delivery of mental health services whilst delivering high quality care.
