Or client who are a SME **Commodity** trading company is looking for a **Risk Analyst** to focus on Market Risk. The role will be within a Risk Team based in London working three days in the office and two from home. The role will involve learning and working with their commodity products from a risk perspective andcould involve some international travel and placements if interested depending on the Company's needs and opportunities.

**Key responsibilities**:
Working closely with the Head of Risk you will be involved in:

- Risk reporting and presentations for weekly and monthly Risk Committees.
- Risk data base management.
- Assist the Head of Risk on several ad hoc projects.
- Development of reports using internal data.
- Streamline operational processes to improve efficiency.
- Assist in reviewing market risk, credit files and country risks.
- Helping to prepare training materials on compliance and risks.

**We are looking for individuals who following profile**:

- 2 to 3 years relevant work experience - risk experience gained from a banking, financial environment or commodity firm.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Maths or sciences essential.
- Quantitative analysis knowledge or skills would be an advantage.
- Highly numerical with ideally some experience of databases, modelling or Risk work through study or work experience.
- Strong IT skills (SQL, Excel VBA, Python).
- Knowledge of Qlik, Power BI and Lacima are desirable.
