**Stores Operative - Job Description**

You must be proactive in this role and think for yourself to manage your daily tasks to complete them as efficiently as possible. You will always work in a clean and safe way, wearing PPE as required to maintain safety. You will be required to lift boxes and move items with a pallet truck so this job will involve physical activities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Preparing equipment for transportation.
- Operate a forklift to load and unload shipments.
- Work in a responsible, and organized manner.
- Contribute to the maintenance of the factory.
- Support and be involved in 5S and continuous improvement activities.
- Proactively contribute to daily work plans.
- Pick and prepare parts for shipments.
- Move equipment around the warehouse as needed.
- Keep stores areas organized.
- Process purchase orders and deliveries.
- Perform rolling stocktake of inventory as directed by management.
- Ensure parts are labelled and identifiable.
- Use the in-house systems and computer.
- Any other duties as and when required.

**What are we looking for**:

- Experience of working in a similar role, involving work in stores.
- A knowledge of good practice relating to Health and Safety Regulations.
- Computer literate and knowledge of stock systems.
- Methodical, organised, and able to work on own initiative.
- A Forklift licence is desirable or willing to take forklift course is necessary.

- Able to organise and prioritise workload.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Ability to work within a team.
- Attention to detail.
- Work in an efficient manner.

**Licence/Certification**:

- Driving Licence (preferred).
- FLT License (preferred).

**Schedule**:

- Day shifts.
- Monday to Friday.
- 40 hours per week

Pay: £23,800.00-£24,000.00 per year
