Job summary
Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will undertake a variety of tasks that include:

- Create a baseline of the current manual handling training being delivered in the different BUs to understand current state and exact details of each program
- Complete a gap analysis to identify any areas where training is missing, incomplete or in need of updating
- Work with all the stakeholders involved to create a collaboratively agreed training program that meets legal requirements and business needs
- Partner with Human Factors and Ergonomics (HFE) teams for approval on content, style, illustrations to align with corporate requirements
- Manage the training program with clearly defined metrics to ensure minimum requirements are understood and complied with
- Introduce an auditing mechanism for the program and how it is delivered to ensure consistently high standards and continued improvement
- Review the content on a regular basis, taking feedback from stakeholders and changing with the business
- Provide required metrics and updates for regular reporting; share specific highlights and lowlights as applicable
- Stay current with the relevant legislation, guidance and research across the countries in Europe

**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**
- Knowledge and experience of delivering safe handling training in industry
- Experience of creating training materials and supporting resources for all levels of learner from basic through to advanced
- Experience of managing a training program across several sites/ regions
- Knowledge of relevant EU manual handling legislation and guidance with a curious mindset to understand and communicate it to ensure compliance
- Ability to analyze metrics, identify trends, and produce reports that help drive continual improvement
- Program management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong team player with capability to work collaboratively and relatively independently, maintaining high standards of professional behaviour
- Excellent communication skills (spoken and written) with experience of delivering training
- Proficient using Windows Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Teaching qualification and prior experience of adult education.
