Business and Operations Planner

Working Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00, we need you to deliver the highest level of customer service, through planning, subcontracting & sourcing the best haulage solutions to fulfill our customer’s requirements. You’ll be planning & subcontracting for both our rail and road operations, monitoring delivery and collection schedules, identifying and resolving any issues with hauliers along the way. Problem solving skills are key combined with a desire to improve quality and performance in the business. We need you to possess sound judgement skills, as you’ll be asked to review KPIs and other data looking for improvements we can make in our service. You’ll be required to build strong relationships quickly, actively sourcing new hauliers for our portfolio. Negotiating rates and onboarding them as one of our new suppliers, to ensure we have a network available, to maximise vehicle utilisation, ultimately meeting our customer’s needs.

We are looking for a hard-working individual to join our team, who has a willingness to progress, within an innovative company. A sound geographical knowledge combined with a background in administration. Solid IT skills are necessary, as there is a requirement to keep accurate records so that invoices, reports, and statistical information can be produced.
