**Housekeeper required**
We're Student Roost. Anowner and operator of purpose-built student accommodation across the UK. Werenot quite the new kids on the block, having already created a portfolio of over19,000 beds and ambition to increase that further in the near future; but wereat the very beginning of building our brand, our culture and our DNA. Our Housekeepers workalongside the wider team to ensure a clean and sparkly environment, for our residents.Our properties are our shop window and the Housekeepers role is responsible formaintaining consistently high standards of cleanliness, looking after ourresidents needs and maintaining a polite and courteous attitude.

**Key responsibilities for our Housekeepers**:

- Our Housekeepers are an important cog in the Student Roostwheel, working alongside the wider team and making sure that all assigned areasare clean, neat and tidy and performing all cleaning tasks to the higheststandard.
- At the top of your agenda will be to maintain, adhere andfollow all our company health & Safety policies and processes. Safety andwelfare are never overlooked, so you must be able to use all equipment safely andefficiently and report any maintenance or health & Safety concerns.
- You will have the important job of stock Control. So, we askthat you make regular assessments of stock levels and work with the AssistantManager to ensure that stock levels are all correct and any items that needincreasing and done in line with budgets and preferred suppliers.
- Our amazing teams dont ever walk past a problem and this isparticularly important for our Housekeepers. You will ensure our property isinviting, well maintained and safe. Act as the eyes and ears for the PropertyManager for any issues throughout the properties and ensure that everyinteraction you have with our residents is a positive one, that makes adifference to their day.

**Experience and Skills Required**:

- We would love someone on board who has experience working asa Housekeeper in a fast paced, customer service environment with the ability toassist with large scale departure and arrival periods.
- Ideally our new Housekeeper will have the ability to useindustrial cleaning equipment with a good attention to detail to help supportthe main business function by cleaning to a high standard.
- We pride ourselves on how awesome our teams are, so we arelooking for a self-motivated, well organised and well-presented individual toadd to this. You must also have the ability to communicate with colleagues and residents alike and be flexible whilst adding value to the Student Roost team.
