**Job description**:
SAP Practice own and manage HMRC’s SAP estate, that includes SAP ETMP (Enterprise Tax Management Platform) and SAP systems supporting internal HR and Finance. Our Business Management Unit creates a great place to work - we recruit, deal with finance, help people learn and much more.
The Business Management Officer role is a varied role giving the jobholder a great insight into working in CDIO SAP Practice.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic team colleague who will be at ease with working on their own areas of responsibility and objectives whilst also supporting the team and wider SAP Practice colleagues.
Working with Finance systems is an important part of this role, so you’ll need to be comfortable with numbers whilst paying attention to detail.
You’ll pull together information and data for performance reporting.
Making SAP Practice a great place to work will also feature in your role, engagement and helping colleagues with their ways of working.
You’ll also co-manage the central SAP Practice inbox, help with diary management and cover colleagues.
**Responsibilities**:
- Working with finance, online invoices and purchase orders
- Monitoring and maintaining team inbox
- Monitor, record and promote mandatory learning
- Engagement and training of colleagues
- Covering team colleagues and diary management
**Essential Criteria**:
- Enthusiastic team worker, skilled at planning and balancing the delivery of own work and ensuring team priorities are met.
- Skilled at analysing information and data, paying close attention to detail using Excel to analyse information, SharePoint and Outlook to store and share and PowerPoint to present the information
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate, in writing and verbally, with a wide range of stakeholders, including advising and updating senior colleagues.

Team members that are moving offices as a result of the Locations Programme will be entitled to a Moves Adjustment Payment for three years where they incur additional costs. This is calculated based on the difference between the costs of travelling to and from the new and old office, over a weekly period. You will get more detail on this as part of targeted locations move communications.
