**Payroll & Finance Officer**

**Bristol**

**Circa £30kp/a**

The Payroll and Finance Officer supports the Finance Team on all matters relating to the financial management and administration of the business, including payroll. They will do so through the effective management of financial processes and their ability to process financial transactions in an accurate and timely manner. This is a great opportunity for an AAT qualified accountant who is willing to study towards ACCA/CIMA qualifications.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Processing the company Payroll on a monthly basis
- Processing of company tax commitments: VAT and PAYE
- Processing of pension deductions
- Management and execution of Payroll using Quickbooks
- Processing of company expenses
- Timely and accurate processing of the company’s ledgers
- Generating and managing client invoicing and credit control
- Processing payments of company costs through purchase ledger
- Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Maintenance of Company Fixed Asset Register
- Weekly cash flow forecasting
- Assistance with preparation of monthly management pack
- AAT qualified (or going through the final stage)
- Experience of preparing and processing of payroll, preferably using Quickbooks
- Experience of processing all aspects of a company financial ledgers
- A strong but collaborative approach with good communication skills
- A significant level of numeracy
- Intermediate Excel skills (Pivot tables, V lookups)

**Salary**: £27,000.00-£32,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

- Bristol, BS1 5PB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Payroll: 1 year (preferred)
