**Job Title: Contract Supervisor**

**Location: Woking, Surrey**

**Salary: Up to £45,000**

**Summary of Role**:
As a Contract Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing maintenance and repairs of various properties, ensuring that the work is completed to the required standards, within budget, and on time. You will lead a team of supervisors and work closely with the Service Manager to ensure the smooth delivery of projects. You will also be responsible for maintaining a positive health and safety culture, ensuring compliance with contractual commitments, and building strong relationships with clients.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage work in progress (WIP) with the Service Manager, including sourcing required resources, programming, and scoping work to meet service level agreements (SLAs), and keeping the FES and Scheduler updated.
- Ensure supervisors are carrying out the full scope of works required, including ordering materials, completing repairs in a timely manner, and handing back properties on time.
- Take the lead and build relationships with clients by liaising with them to keep them up to date with the overall delivery of the works and how these are progressing.
- Enforce a positive health and safety culture through training, audits, and site visits, including taking a lead on compliance and safety audits.
- Issue and ensure appropriate controls within the Permit to Work systems.
- Ensure that all subcontractors are appropriately supervised and comply with contractual commitments and site operating processes, and work to their RAMS.
- Line manage supervisors and take the lead on recruitment, induction, and development.
- Be part of the out-of-hours managers' rota, providing technical assistance and support for the operatives or the client.

**Skills Required**:

- Possess interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels in a professional manner, being able to challenge and be challenged.
- Able to record information in the field, identify trends and recurrent issues.
- Be a team player by understanding what it is to be part of a team, sharing experiences and learning.
- Be able to deal with time pressures to deliver works to schedule.
- Be able to self-manage and be self-motivated, prioritizing work and have a desire to solve problems.
- Have knowledge of the materials and methods used in the construction/maintenance industry.

**Experience Required**:

- 2+ years of supervising maintenance repairs/project works (Essential).
- 3+ years line management experience (Essential).
- 5+ years relevant trade experience (Desirable).

**Qualification Required**:

- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in relevant trade (Essential).
- SSSTS Health and Safety (Desirable).
- IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent (Essential)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £45,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday
