Main Duties:

- To carry out general cleaning and associated duties for contracts that are specifically assigned to you and to act as Cleaning Relief for sickness, holiday and emergency cover as required.
- Supervise the activities of cleaners on your given contract portfolio and ensure your contracts are correctly and adequately resourced to include holiday, sickness and emergency cover requirements.
- To recruit new staff in line with the Company Recruitment and Vetting Procedures
- Audit sites and ensure that service standards are maintained at high levels and that any failures are corrected immediately with preventative action being implemented to prevent future occurrences. Report all incidents to the Contract Manager and liaise as appropriate.
- To ensure that Induction training, Site Procedures Manual training and any other on - site training that may be required, is carried out with staff within the agreed timescale.
- To ensure that all Site Procedures Manuals are in date and have been signed and understood by the site based personnel as applicable
- To manage the welfare of the staff deployed to the contracts under your control. Report any issues to the Contract Manager and to carry out any actions to remedy situations as necessary and as directed
- To ensure that all stock and equipment needs for the sites under your control are reviewed and replenished as appropriate. To ensure that all equipment is fit for purpose, maintained and has a valid PAT Test sticker and to liaise with the Contract Manager for PAT Testing renewal requirements as appropriate.
- Providing Operational Management with updates and reports on the status of each contract within your portfolio
- To ensure that all Company Policies including the Company Handbook requirements are adhered to and complied with
- Ensure that the Company Health & Safety Policy and requirements, including all Risk Assessments and Method / Task Statements are adhered to, and COSHH regulations are abided by. Undertake Risk Assessments together with the Contract Manager as and when necessary
- To carry out any ancillary duties as assigned to you by the operational management team.
