**Audio Visual Technician**

Our client is a long-established AV company located in Battersea, London. The company stages events in London and beyond, and rents out a wide range of equipment including audio and video, staging and lighting kit. The company also designs and installs permanentAV systems, including large LED screens, video conferencing kit, sound equipment and much more.

Our client has a vacancy for a new member of the team.Experience in the industry is certainly welcome, but so is an interest - even passion - for technology and a willingness to work hard and learn quickly.

You should be able to tick at least some of the following boxes:

- Knowledge of sound systems, video, lighting, rigging, with one or more these in some depth
- Good IT skills - MS Office as a minimum, more advanced skills a definite bonus
- AV qualifications: for example a relevant degree, BTec or diploma
- Excellent spoken and written English
- A clean UK driving licence
- A knowledge of electronics and good practical skills
- You must live within commuting distance of south-west London

This is a job for someone who wants every day to be different, and a million miles from those boring roles as an in-house technician for a mega city corporation you see on all the job sites.That’s not to say that the role is all action-packed glamour -there are routine tasks as well - but one day you could be driving a sound desk for a conference, the next you could be building theatre scenery, the day after that installing an LED display or fixing cameras.
