**JOB ROLE**:Learning Disabilities**Support Worker

**LOCATION**:Coalville LE67

**PAY RATE**:£13.60 - £14.20* per hour _(This rate is effective as of 1st April - if you start prior to this date, your hourly rate will be £12.60 - £13.30 and will be automatically uplifted on 1st April)_

**HOURS**:42 hours + 2 sleeps

**SHIFTS**:08:00-15:00, 15:00-22:00, 08:00-22:00 and 22:00 - 08:00

**About Hugglescote**:
Hugglescote are a small 3-bed residential home supporting young adults with a range of learning disabilities ranging from Autism, ADHD and challenging behavior on 2-1 or 1-1 basis.

Many of our Managers and Team Leaders joined us as a Support Worker and through ongoing training and coaching they are continuing to move further up the accomplish ladder

**As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people within the service including**:

- Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
- Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
- Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
- Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administrating medication.
- Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
- Assisting with personal care as required.
- Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
- Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.

**Experience within the care sector is not needed as we offer full training, coaching and development**
