**About us**
A H Worth is a 4th generation family owned farming and produce business supplying retail, food service and food manufacturing customers with a variety of packaged and prepared vegetable products.

We are a multi site operation situated in Holbeach Hurn and Fosdyke, Lincolnshire, that consist of a 6,000 acre farming operation, joint ventures in fresh produce and four factories that produce fresh vegetables, wholehead and prepared potatoes employing 600 people.

**The Role**

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a **Despatch Operative **to join our **centralised Despatch team** at our **Holbeach Hurn **site.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Retrieving orders from the relevant systems and ensuring they are processed and ready for collation and delivery within the allotted time frame
- Maintaining contact with hauliers/depots and keeping them informed of any deviations from plan (if required)
- Providing the Shift Manager/Section Leader with daily details of any chase products if needed (times and counts) to give ample time to allow packing to take place
- Responsible for collating and out loading products in a correct and timely manner to meet the set target of tons picked per hour/person
- Creating pick lists and load plans for all loads
- Carrying out a period equipment count making sure information is supplied to the appropriate people that require the information within the time frame given
- Safe unloading and correct storage of incoming equipment to ensure easy access and accountability of equipment
**Minimum skills/qualifications: -**
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as within a small team
- Current industry recognised forklift and ROPT licenses essential
- Shunter license and experience desirable but not essential
- Good level of numeracy and literacy
- Effective and clear communication skills
