**Salary -** £21,000 - £25,000 per annum _dependent on skills & experience_

**About the role**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Patient Access Officer to join our Corporate offices in 1 London Bridge. Working as part of our central Reservations team, you will provide a comprehensive range of administrative services to patients, consultants and other third parties that will assist in promoting the successful management of all aspects needed to facilitate a seamless Reservations patient pathway and Patient Access Service, whilst ensuring compliance in all Revenue Cycle functions.

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Maintain accurate and up to date information on the hospital database during the patient journey.
- Formally pre-register all patients and guarantee 100% accuracy when requesting and transferring information to HCA databases.
- Ensure that all patients meet the HCA criteria to enable successful and full financial settlement, whether Sponsored or Self-funded
- Seek assistance from Senior Patient Access Officers/Patient Access Leaders with any complex queries
- Assist in the management of the Patient Access shared mailbox
- Ensure all correspondence is received and scanned onto accounts under the correct Meditech Form inclusive of letters of guarantee, booking forms, clinic letters, medical reports, consultant fees and pre-authorisation
- Adhere to a flexible work pattern often at short notice and be prepared to cover other HCA facility bookings inbox
**Skills & Experience**
- Previous admin experience within a similar role in healthcare
- Further finance study/ qualification desirable
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer literate
