A lovely primary school in Southgate are urgently looking for a reception teacher to join their school on a part-time basis to cover a maternity leave.
**The Role**
In this role you will be teaching a class of 30 reception age pupils 3 days a week as a job share with another teacher. You will teach over the first part of the week (Mon, Tues, Wed) and will follow existing planning as well as coordinating new planningand assessments with the other teacher. You will need to have QTS and experience teaching in EYFS (ideally reception) with a good knowledge of phonics and early development.
This role has become available so quickly as the permanent class teacher is preparing for her maternity leave and the teacher who was due to provide the cover is no longer able to commit to the role.
The school are ideally looking for a reception teacher who can start straight away, but they can wait until January for the right teacher.
This position is offered on a contract basis until the end of the academic year and will be paid to scale.
