**About the Role**

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a well established and growing Engineering Consultancy firm based on the outskirts of Bath. We are looking for a driven and conscientious individual to join our team as a Administrator (Technical) where you will provide administrative support to our Technical Consultants and Directors of the Company while providing an exceptional service to the customers.

The firm’s primary function is to offer marine engineering expertise to Defence and Commercial organisations.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Data population and amendments to bespoke maintenance databases.
- Interpreting and manipulating technical data.
- Providing quality assurance
- Analysing spreadsheets and feeding information back to customers and Xpedite management.
- Support Technical Consultants on technical visits to Dockyards, Ships and Submarines.
- Formulating, proof reading and conducting quality checks on deliverable documents prior to their delivery.
- Supporting a variety of internal and customer facing meetings.
- Responsibilities include meeting preparation and minute taking.
- Provide training and mentoring to peers when required.
- Collating monthly reports.
- Assisting in the updating of internal organisational and external customer work instructions. This includes generation of new instructions and conducting regular health checks and audits on current/historic instructions.
- Represent the organisation within the customers environment or in the presence of customers.
- Providing additional admin support to the office when required.
- To work in accordance with the 'Xpedite Insights'
**Essential Requirements for the role**
- Excellent organisational and time keeping skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload for self and others.
- Excellent eye for detail.
- Confident using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Accurate and Methodical.
- Able to work both individually or as part of a study team.
- Capable of using own initiative
- Ability to gain MoD Security Clearance.
