We have an exciting opportunity for Contaminated Land Consultants of various levels of experience to join our growing Contaminated Land Team in the south and east of England. As a Contaminated Land Consultant the focus of this important, challenging and varied role is to provide the technical delivery of contaminated land assessments, supporting the Built Environment, Transport, Defence, Water and other Sectors.

You will be responsible for delivery of contaminated land assessments on multidisciplinary projects.

Key elements of the role include:

- Contribute to the growth of the regional contaminated land team
- Experienced delivery of Contaminated Land Risk Assessments and Remediation Strategies in accordance with UK Government guidance
- Communicating contaminated land risks to project teams, stakeholders and regulators
- Management of project teams and budgets
- Promote technical excellence
- Supervision and development of graduates
- Business development, helping to develop Client relationships.

Required for the position of Contaminated Land Consultant;
- BSc (Hons) in geology, earth or environmental sciences
- Track record of completing generic and detailed quantitative human health, ground gas and water environment risk assessments in accordance with current best practice
- Scoping and management of ground investigations
- Remediation design and supervision experience
- Enthusiasm for business development activities

Preferred, but not required;
- Chartered geologist, scientist or engineer with relevant professional body or working towards chartership
- Currently holds or is willing to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance
