Flt Operator

We are currently searching for an experienced FLT (Reach & Counterbalance) Operator for a client based in County Durham. This position is Monday to Thursday (Week 1) Tuesday to Friday (Week 2) rotating days (6qm to 6pm) and nights (6pm to 6am) 12 hrs shifts 46 hours per week. The hourly rate is £11.50.

The role has been created to ensure that all materials held in the warehouse are received processed and stored correctly ready for production. There is chilled storage as well as freezer storage, some short periods of cold working will be required all necessary PPE will be provided.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- To ensure that the highest standards of hygiene and housekeeping are maintained in all areas - operating a clean as you go mentality
- Ensure safe operation of FLT and Counterbalance when in use.
- Ensure production replenishment of materials are met through accurate interpretation of order picking activities
- Using correct MHE, assist in the safe tipping of deliveries
- Using the correct MHE stow products to the correct location and scan to ensure information logged correctly onto the WMS
- Use of Hand Wrap where applicable
- To take an active role in continuously developing skills and knowledge through self-development activities and/or through attending Company organised training and development opportunities.
- To respond to ad hoc requests and/or take an active role in specific projects as directed by the job-holder’s line manager.

**Applicants should**:

- Have reach and counterbalance licences
- Have previous experience of working within a similar warehouse role
- Fully understand relevant H&S issues around the position available
- Have good communication skills
- Have good attention to detail and be a team player
