**Job Role: Electrical Supervisor**
**Location: South Molton**

**Hours: Permanent, Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm**
**Salar y: Staring from £30,000 per annum**
**Role:**
To ensure that all plant & equipment is serviced in accordance with the company's planned preventative maintenance schedules.
To help reduce the downtime of plant to a minimum. To
increase the output of all plant by means of improvement and
or modification wherever possible.
Leading and managing a combination of day and shift electricians an integral role will be played in terms of supporting the Production department, providing technical support and fault-finding skills to ensure the efficient operation of the process.

**Responsibilities**:
**General**:
Management of team providing front line maintenance support.
To supervise and/or carry out routine/preventative and reactive maintenance on all electrical aspects of the plant in a safe and efficient manner.
Respond to plant breakdowns by ensuring that PPM is carried out, reducing downtime.
Ensure that all works are carried out to a high standard as expected across the production departments.
To understand the systems in operation, its components and be able to diagnose faults and effectively repair them.
To assist with the creation of risk assessments, method statements, safe systems of work etc.
To assist with the electrical/software design and implementation of project/modification work.
To manage and maintain the site support systems
**Healthy and safety**:
Ongoing and proactive participation and promotion of the Stronger Together safety culture and associated initiatives and activities
Visible commitment to the company's Safety Star and Expectations Programme.
Comply with Health & Safety requirements: as per training, policies, procedures, risk assessments, method statements, safe systems of work etc.
Ensure that PPE issued, is kept and maintained in good condition
Actively seek to improve safety culture.
Report any H&S issues/accidents/near misses to your line manager immediately.
Follow Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work detailed to the task
Attend training as required to maintain personal qualification/competence.
Any other duties as required by line management.
- Time served qualification in an electrical engineering discipline e.g. apprenticeship.
- You will be educated to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering. A relevant further high-level qualification is also desirable.
- Experience with PLCs, drives and instrumentation systems preferable.
- Supervisory experience dealing with the control and management of personnel in a maintenance environment including contract labour desirable.
- A ‘Hands-on' individual, with a positive ‘can-do' approach to your work you will lead and motivate your team whilst ensuring Engineering standards are achieved and maintained.
- Ideal Management entry point for a willing team player with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent IT Skills are required.
- Technical expertise to extract and manipulate data and identify trends.
- Strong people and communication skills - written, verbal, presentation
- Ensuring all electrical engineering activities within area of responsibility are completed in full compliance with all statutory regulations and site HS&E standards, policies and procedures.
- Full UK driving licence.
