Howarth Morris are looking to recruit an experienced Financial Accountant to join a market leading Propert Development Group in Liverpool City Centre. Operating in a broad and autonomous role, you will support the Group Head of Financial Compliance andTax in the development of an efficient and effective tax function for the Group. A great move for any qualified accountant looking to develop their experience in Tax.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Group Head of Financial Compliance and Tax to develop an efficient and effective tax function for the Group.
- Support with the development and implementation of tax efficient services.
- Assist in the Production of group and subsidiary financial statements
- Provide support on tax compliance for the Group in relation to VAT, corporation tax, employment tax, SDLT.
- Support with the delivery of service improvement for finance services.
- Support the provision of appropriate, accurate and effective financial information and performance monitoring systems throughout the Group.
- Lead on the implementation and maintenance of tax compliant systems and processes.
- Applicants will be Qualified or Part Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA. CTA or ATT Tax Professionals would be desirable.
- Evidence of and commitment to continual professional, leadership and personal development.
- Tax experience in a large and complex organisation/function.
- A successful track record of achievement in shaping and implementing effective tax efficiency systems and processes in a complex organisation
