You will turn your hand to all administrative duties, supporting the reception, HR, Finance teams and the CPA coordinator, medical secretary, ward and MHA admins on an ad-hoc basis. Working 37.5 hours a week, you will support the Nursing Department in maintaining a high standard of day-to-day operational service delivery and support the organisation and co-ordination of staff in the Nursing Department.To ensure that all staff shortagesare identified, and bank or agency staff are booked to cover and maintain appropriate levels of staff on the wards. That’s what delivering great healthcare should feel like. **Your responsibilities will include**: - Assist in the co-ordination of the programme, including correspondence, timetabling and evaluation. - Assist in the welcoming of new employees and facilitating their effective introduction to Northwest Services. - Ensure that new employees are scheduled to attend service-specific induction, and where required liaise with the appropriate Head of Department. - To assist the training department with the co-ordination of the training strategy, training plan, departmental training plans and help identify individual training and development needs via the appraisal process. - To assist in the co-ordination of NVQ’s across all disciplines and keeping records up to date. - To assist in the co-ordination and administration of statutory, mandatory and in-service training for staff as appropriate. - To organise course bookings/venues as required. - To assist in the co-ordination and administration of all employees training records on the systems in place. - To liaise with the Ward Managers on a daily basis to identify staffing shortages and cover staff shortfalls.Attending resource meetings as required. - Operate a system which provides information about staff availability for bank staff.Ensure all contact details are up to date so that staff can be contacted. - To monitor and manage agency usage in regards to booking, checking and authorising invoices, authorising timesheets. **To be successful in this role, you will have**: - GCSE certificate, Grade C or above in English & Mathematics, or equivalent - Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel - Experience in a similar role - Good verbal and written communication skills - Professional telephone manner - Experience of working within a team - Appreciation of the Data Protection Act - Knowledge of training procedure **What you will get**: - Annual salary of £20,826 + Benefits - Free meals and parking - Enhanced maternity package - Wellbeing support and activities
