**COMPOSITE LAMINATOR - UP TO £13 PAYE - DARWEN - 12 MONTHS (EXTENDABLE) 4 DAY WEEK - 37 HOURS PER WEEK (OVERTIME PREMIUM RATE) - ONSITE ROLE- SINGLE STAGE INTERVIEW ONSITE **MERITUS are recruiting for experienced **Composite Laminator** to join our clients team. You'll join the laminating fitter production team ensuring composite products are produced at good quality and durability. **Responsibilities**
- Cut, lay-up, and fit composite materials, such as carbon fibre, according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to assemble and fit composite components.
- Inspect laminated parts for defects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and tolerances.
- Trim, sand, and finish laminated components to meet specified dimensions and surface finishes.
- Work closely with production team leaders and quality control to ensure all parts meet the required specifications.
- Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of laminating tools and equipment.

**Skillset/experience required**:

- Previous experience in laminating, fitting, or a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of composite materials and laminating techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in laminating and fitting processes.
