Ward 12 is a 13 bedded elective orthopaedic ward & WAFFU is an 8 bedded Fractured Neck of Femur Admission Unit. Within the Trauma and Orthopaedic Division at Arrowe Park.

We are a dedicated, welcoming and professional team of staff.

The housekeeper is an integral member of the team who will work along side the Management and Nursing team in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness of all Nursing equipment, both in use on the ward and in store.
- To maintain a high standard of cleanliness of all nursing equipment, both in use on the ward and in store.
- To ensure all equipment and the ward environment is in good working order at all times and report appropriately if not.
- Maintain Health and Safety in the workplace and complete risk assessments and electrical checks as required.
- Support ward staff with the serving of food and drinks for the patients.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and perform clerical tasks such as answering the telephone and use of cerner.IT system
