**The role will be mainly cooking large quantity of ingredients in large kettles/vats in readiness for them to be transferred into containers to be distributed to clients.**

**Hours of Work**:

- 05:30am -02:00pm
- Monday to Friday
- 37.5 hours per week

**Salary**:

- £13.65 per hour

**Duties Required**:

- Working in a fast paced environment with often physical work.
- Have an understanding of food and people safety important.
- Weigh ingredients, follow a recipe and processes; do testing of pH, TSS; record information on recipe sheets.
- Follow policies and procedures; and do start up checks each day.
- Cleaning between batches [often 2-3 times a week] and at the end of day.
- Strong organisational skills required [if cooking is late, that the whole production line is behind for the day].
- It is often a wet production environment with temperatures fluctuating between hot and cold.
- Unlikely to be suitable for anyone with a serious food allergy.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Full valid and clean UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work individually as well as within a team.
- Confidence when working in a fast-paced environment.
- Right to work in the UK.
