It all started for us with one Scottish store in 1901, we are now a leading neighbourhood retailer across England, Scotland and Wales with a large number of convenience stores.
**About The Vacancy**:
The key purpose of this role is input into store design and maintaining accurate computer-aided design (CAD) plans using specialist auto CAD software for all MRG stores that includes internal fixtures, external buildings and assets. Work cross functionalwith internal and external stakeholder to maintain accuracy of store layout that delivers against keeping customers at the heart of what we do and maintaining easy to run stores.
- Key tasks include:_
- Designing and createingnew plans for projects, ensuring the design considers our store colleagues and customer experience
- Conducting store visits across the estate, ensuring store plans are up to date and projects are completed to the approved layout and understand key stakeholders needs
- Managing and updating accurate floor plans for the entire McColl's estate and be the single source of information for CAD drawings
- Correctly calculating the square footage of stores retail and BoH space, displaying the information on the plans and sharing with third parties upon request.
- Working on multiple projects, prioritizing to meet deadlines and keep key stakeholders informed and reviewing feedback
- Building relationships and work cross-functionally with multiple teams both internal and externally
- Attending governance meetings for store drawings that includes Morrisons Daily and McColl's stores
- Distributing approved plans to colleagues across the business.
- Managing external resource, providing training where necessary and host regular check ins
- Managing the Store Planning department.
- Use of specialist AutoCAD software.
- Assessing and efficiently managing change requests from stakeholders whilst effectively communicating and liaising cross functionally
- Produce precise alcohol licensing plans ensuring the changes are submitted on time, preventing the breach of our licensing conditions.
- Leading and contributing at governance meetings and capture next steps, owners and dates
- Managing the store maintenance system, inputting of new data, removing outdated information, and flagging any problems
**To Be Successful You Will Need**:
- Experience using AutoCAD software
- Ability to work on multiple projects, prioritizing to meet deadlines and keep key stakeholders informed and reviewing feedback
- Ability to build relationships and work cross-functionally with multiple teams both internal and externally
