**Electrical Maintenance Shift Technician**

We are looking for a motivated Electrical Maintenance Shift Technician to join a market leading manufacturer. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involvedin all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers.The position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.

**Role Description**
- Attend breakdowns and conduct effective and efficient fault finding to resolve component failures
- Support and assist Mechanical engineering activities when and where require
- Supervise and support contractors when required.
- Fully understand the operational protocols associated with alarm conditions.
- To support and fully utilise a Computer Maintenance Management System on a daily basis adhering to accurate control of stock.
- Escalate crisis management by effectively providing the business with accurate assessments and constructive solutions where appropriate.
- Undertake upgrades and installations.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Higher Diploma / NVQ electrical qualification
- Minimum of 5 years' experience working in an electrical manufacturing environment
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liase with colleagues, management, suppliers and manufacturers
- Ability to identify root cause quickly and effectively
