Trainee Ductwork Installer

ATS is actively seeking a full-time Trainee Ductwork Installer, to join a supportive and friendly team.

As Trainee Ductwork Installer you will receive instructions from the Project Supervisor and learn the methods of installing both uPVC/GRP ductwork and Galvanised Ductwork, ventilation and odour control systems on a range of construction sites throughout the UK.

Working away is a regular requirement of the role.

A full UK driving licence is essential.

Tasks to be completed as part of the role include:

- On-site installation works
- Ensure safe practices and compliance with Company H&S standards are upheld at all times
- Ensure high standards are met at all times - in terms of customer satisfaction, quality of installation and workmanship
- Ensure installation is in accordance with latest construction drawings
- Ensure site rules are adhered to at all times
- Remain professional with client at all times
- Organise your own time on site effectively and productively
- Assisting in deliveries on site of all materials and plant
- Inspect all deliveries of plant and material to ensure items are suitable and free from damage. Any damages to be reported to project manager
- Assisting in the daily installations and running of the project with the site supervisor/project manager
- Carry out additional duties other than ductwork installations as required and requested by the project manager. These will be general duties which maybe outside of your main skill set
- Snag all installation works and prepare for client acceptance
- Ductwork inspections to be carried out and any damages or defects reported to project manager
