Support Worker / Bury
Residential Support Workers required for an established young person social care provided for a new residential service which is opening in Bury, Greater Manchester.
The role of the Residential Support Worker will be to promote education, help with meal planning and preparation, cleaning up and providing emotional support to the young people as needed. The young people you will be Supporting have emotional and behavioural issues.
Shifts: 10am - 10pm sleep 7am - 10.30am.
You will be working on a rolling rota so you can plan your shifts in advance
The service will be home to 3 children once full - it currently has 1 young person on placement. There will be 2 Support Worker staff on at all times.
There is also an opportunity to undertake your NVQ Level 3 Children and Young People as part of the position.
**Requirements**:
Experience of working in a similar position is desirable. Driving licence is also essential. Right to work in the UK is essential as is the willingness to undertake a DBS check.
