**Early Years Practitioner Level 3 - 40 Hours a week**

We are looking to recruit an Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly team.
- Possess suitable qualifications to Level 3 or above
- Have experience of working with babies and children under 5 yrs
- Have a working knowledge of the EYFS and Ofsted standards
- Be passionate about Early Years & improving outcomes for children/families
- Be approachable and enjoy working in a small team or individually
- Have good communication skills both verbal and written.

Main duties and responsibilities will include
- To be committed to all Child Protection and Safeguarding protocols
- Ensure that company policies and procedures are followed at all times
- Ensure the appearance and cleanliness of the room/nursery is maintained
- Have responsibility for a key group of children with full key person duties
- Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team delivering high quality care and early years education for all children
- Work in a proactive manner to provide a wide range of safe, stimulating opportunities to enable children to learn and thrive
- Build and maintain respectful and professional relationships with parents & families
- Attend staff meetings and briefings out of working hours.
- Participate in training where required; keeping updated with current childcare and legislative practices.

**Salary**: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Leigh, WN7 4HW: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
