Due to continued growth for this specialist manufacturer of engineered components, there is now an exciting opportunity for an experienced Planner to join the Supply Chain Team.

The key focus of the role will be to provide end-to-end collaborative planning, forecasting and replenishment for short, medium and long-term customer programmes.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, responsibilities as Lead Planner will be to:
- Produce an effective plan and communicate production plans and supply schedules in line with customer demand and available capacity and supplies.
- Work closely with cross functional teams to establish and maintain optimal production and supply plans.
- Own demand planning and order book management.
- Interface with customers to manage expectations, provide planning schedules and feedback re queries.
- Accountable for site Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP).
- Manage planning constraints and conflicts.
- Ensure that supplier delivery plans are aligned with site production plans.
- Support Operations re inventory analysis.
- Have gained their planning experience within manufacturing.
- Have SIOP experience.
- Be able to build strong working relationships within internal stakeholders, customers and suppliers.
- Be a strong communicator and a team player.
