**POSITION: CONSTRUCTION OPERATIONS DIRECTOR**

The Operations Director provides project teams with high-level day-to-day leadership. This includes organising the practice’s internal resources and procedures to ensure projects are successfully completed from feasibility to

completion, as well as working closely with the other director(s) & client(s) to provide construction andmanagement expertise.

**Pre-Construction Management: Project management role**
- Briefing all new and existing clients
- Setting up appointments,
- Programming work stages (RIBA A - L)
- Continuous advice on all current statutory constraints
- Tradition Contract Administration on a variety of building contracts where required
- Managing internal and external design teams to meet essential deadlines
- Invoicing alongside company Secretary /Director
- Organising the practices internal resources
- Provide technical design and management advice where applicable for all design projects
- Assist as necessary in all design work where applicable
- Develop key commercial design strategies for all design projects undertaken

**Construction Management Role: Management of the process**
- Client focused role;
- Assist in all architectural interfaces with the client
- Provide direction to the development of design solutions during bid stages, ensuring that the

response to the client's brief was creatively challenged to deliver value for the client
- Lead in the co-ordination of the entire consultants team
- Manage the leadership and development of others within the team
- Assist with the negotiation and set up of trade contracts CM 2016 on behalf of the client
- Assist in reporting directly to the client and responsible for the managing of budgets, cash flow,

programme and reporting on the critical path.
- Assist in the ongoing design reviews against brief, buildability, budget requirements, co-ordination and ongoing design changes
- Advise on managing the design, tender process, package procurement through to installation and final sign-off on site within set time and budget constraints on a variety or building packages.
- Manage quality control, including inspections and sign-off and approval or general finishes samples/ mock-ups and benchmarking for the project
- Responsible for the leadership and development of others within the team.
- Managing internal and external design teams to meet essential deadlines

**Salary**: £79,628.00-£86,732.00 per year

**Benefits**:

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
