This role will support the programme management of the International Cancer Benchmarking Partnership (ICBP). The Partnership is a unique global collaboration of clinicians, researchers, data experts and policy makers aiming to understand international survival variation in cancer survival, incidence and mortality, as well as identify factors that might be driving these differences. This role will be central in supporting the Programme Management Team, hosted by CRUK, with its ambitious transition phase work and assist the scoping for Phase 3.

**What will I be doing?**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Providing programme management and administrative support to the ICBP Programme Management Team (PMT) and the Programme Board. Including, but not limited to, creating and maintaining programme documentation such as risk and issue logs, programme timelines, stakeholder register and lesson learned logs.
- Take responsibility for the co-ordination of the Programme Board. This includes scheduling meetings, collating presentations, taking minutes and tracking actions.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues from a range of backgrounds, by providing a credible and knowledgeable central point of contact for academics, clinicians, patients, data experts and funders involved in each project.
- Organise and assist with the preparation of agendas, minutes, papers, briefs and action lists for meetings and teleconferences across the ICBP workstreams.
- Support the PMT with the creation and distribution of communications.
- Support the Senior Programme Manager with the development and management of budgets and contracts, including processing invoices and expense claim forms and monitoring income and expenditure.
- Support the PMT with consultation activities related to Phase 3 scoping.
- Act as an external representative and ambassador for the ICBP.
- What skills are you looking for?**Essential Criteria**:

- Experience of supporting project or programme management. A flexible approach when responding to changing priorities and confident when working with ambiguity.
- Experience of building effective working relationships with a wide range of colleagues, health professionals and other stakeholders. This includes experience of effective stakeholder management and understanding how to communicate effectively with a range of audiences.
- A confident and proactive self-starter, able to manage own workload and operate to tight deadlines while being eager to learn about ICBP's wider research and policy activity.
- Excellent written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills. Excellent presentation skills including the ability to creatively present complex information.
- A strong interest in your own personal development and the ability to be proactive in seeking opportunities to improve skills.
