Offering remote working (UK) due to evolving during the pandemic means that the design and research teams are now working remotely, with occasional travel to the office for social and collaborative work.
**About you**:
Are you a curious UX Researcher who loves exploring and making sense of user behaviours. Do you question why and empathise with users' needs and problems whilst delivering insights through the storytelling of data. You'll be providing the product teams with insights to help inspire and validate how to reach current and emerging needs of users.
You will also be scoping and crafting research plans, conducting or supporting research studies making our products better for users. Above all, they are looking for someone who will advocate for the end-user and help drive an evidence-based culture.
Above everything it is vital that you will be an advocate for the end-user and design guided by data. Collaboration is highly valued within the company and while it is important to be an experienced User Researcher, there is also a great need for potential and drive.
There is also scope to influence what you use and how as the budget is there - you can put a case in. E.g., we need to do AB testing and we need this tool, that's fine as long as you can justify what you need to help with your daily jobs they are happy
**What will the job look like for you**:
- Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative research, using a variety of methodologies such as remote and in-person depth interviews, usability testing, and surveys.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritise research questions.
- Ensure success metrics adequately measure the impact of any new/modified designs
- Prepare research plans, recruit participants, and facilitate varied user testing sessions.
- Draw clear conclusions and actionable insights from analysing qualitative and quantitative research findings.
- Conduct desk-based assessments exploring existing resources such as literature, studies, and competitor products.
- Advise and mentor others to ensure appropriate research is conducted and the suitable methods are applied.
- Represent the voice of our users in the product design process.
