Employability Key Worker

Our Fair Start Scotland contract is a flexible employability support service for people living in Scotland who may be struggling to find work. The service gives participants flexibility and considers their personal circumstances to help them overcome any challenges they may have which may be preventing them finding a job.
As a Key Worker you will provide appropriate support, challenge and guidance to a caseload of customers resulting in them achieving a new and sustainable employment.
You will really make a difference to people’s lives and their families.
**You will be**
- Identifying and recommending vacancy and training solutions, working in close consultation with EST Consultants and Tutor, to meet the specific needs of customers and employers.
- Providing guidance and support for customers maximising their potential into sustainable employment.
- Develop relationships and networks with key stakeholders including employers, jobcentre teams and provisions/funding providers to ensure smooth processes.
- Consistently deliver a high standard of customer service ensuring a supportive, relative and consultative approach.
- Identifying employers and other work-related opportunities that suit the skillset of the customer.
- Maintaining customer records to a required quality standard to ensure the customer journey is documented in accordance with our quality standards.
- Ensuring compliance with our company policies (including Health & Safety, Safeguarding and Data Security) so customers and colleagues are always protected.
**About you.**
You might already have knowledge & experience of the employability sector and local labour market, if so, great **But it’s not essential.**.

- A great communicator with a high energy, confident and adaptability style
- Digitally savvy with the ability to communicate with others using digital technology.
- Experience of supporting people face to face whether that be dealing with customers, colleagues or a team.
- Customer service driven & willing to put the customer journey at the heart of everything you do.
- Someone who loves a challenge with the skill to work in a fast-paced targeted environment.
- Experience of motivating and influencing others based on the audience by adapting your behaviours.
- Understand challenges and barriers unemployed job seekers may currently face.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
**Salary**: £23,500.00 per year
