ROLE
The the position of Purchase Administrator will be responsible for procuring be-spoke goods and that are required within the business and be the gatekeeper for adherence to company purchasing processes and authorisations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES AND ACCOUNTABLIES
- Managing the Purchasing mailbox
- Raising Purchase orders as required when duly authorised.
- Expediting delays as required
- Managing all employee internal car hire, travel and Hotels
- Supporting the Purchasing Team with ongoing projects
- Managing Stationery stock and replenishing as required
- Taking new and replacement uniform orders
- Reviewing Annual contracts for utilities and services focusing on cost and efficiency
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Experience with Microsoft packages essential
- Strong negotiation skills
- Good communication skills
- Excellent Telephone manner
- Ability to work on own initiative essential
- Experience in a similar role would be beneficial but not necessary as full training and support will be provided
Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
