**About us** Delivering strategic solutions through design & development for brands, websites and software. Layers helps its clients design and develop their brands and products. We ensure your project is fully considered, beautifully designed and robustly developed. We have a strong continuous learning culture, and we work collaboratively within teams of multi-disciplined individuals, bringing varied expertise together to design innovative solutions. We have 2 set office days per week (usually Tuesdays and Thursdays), everyone has access to the office every day, but is free to work from home on non-set office days. Everyone has a "learning day" each month, where time is given for you to learn a new skill or brush up on some new techniques, basically just try something new. Around once a month, a member of the team will deliver a Show and tell, often referencing what they've been doing in their learning days. The studio closes over Christmas and New Year period, so additional paid holidays are awarded (thenumber varies depending on thecalendar). At Layers Studio Ltd we pride ourselves on our holistic approach, helping our clients design and develop their brands and products. We are in our seventh year of business and have the exciting opportunity for a Senior Designer to join our energetic and thriving team. Working closely with clients on their projects and collaborating with a range of creatives and developers in connected roles, you will be a key part of our team. **Duties will include** - Working on a variety of client projects including; Branding Solutions, Lead Generating Websites, E-commerce Websites, Web Software Solutions, User Experience Design, User Interface and Visual Graphics. - Working closely with clients on a daily basis - Collaborating a range of Creatives and Developers - Working with various team members to create innovative solutions to our client’s creative and digital projects - Working closely with our internal UX and UI designers to help bring them on in their skills and capabilities. - Strong fundamentals and ability to show clear rationalized thinking in approach to problem-solving - Experience and desire to succeed and continuously learn through personal development - Experience and/or motivation to work with new and existing clients - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Clear Industry experience working with various clients - Strong Portfolio of various design projects - An understanding of modern design principles and processes - Confidence in the ability to solve various creative and digital projects for clients - A team player and someone who enjoys working within a growing business - A desire to want to help younger team members develop their skills, whether they have experience in this or not.
